In loving memory of Helen and Richard Banks

Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, especially when it’s a dearly loved and adored parent. To have to go through this twice in 5 months, is heartbreaking and soul destroying. Helen and Richard Banks were loved friends to many, and most importantly, Mum and Dad to Ella and Joseph. Sadly, Richard’s long battle with cancer came to an end in September 2023. Helen, Ella and Joe were slowly beginning to build a new ‘normal’ without him, when the world was flipped upside down once again. The unexpected and sudden passing of Helen, has hit everyone who knows the family with such deep sadness and disbelief. The coming months are unknown for Ella and Joe, but we all know that the passing of a loved one comes financial stress on top of the grief. I am sure that you, the friends of Helen and Richard, would like to join me in offering a small gesture of financial support to help with funeral cost, solicitors’ fees and the whole unfurling of dealing with such losses. Money raised will be entirely for Ella and Joe to dispense with as they feel is right.
