HEIVA PASIFIKA NYC, created by Te Ao Mana, is New York City’s first large-scale, Pacific Island festival. The event includes exciting native and indigenous performances, unique Pacific Island art and fashion exhibition, immersive cultural workshops and master classes, an Ori Tahiti competition, and community-building opportunities.
Some of the performers we have lined up to present their traditional songs and dances come from Tahiti, Tonga, and Hawaii. Many of the traditional arts and crafts, drumming, music, and healing practices, most of which remain unseen in the Big Apple and across the country, will also be featured. This is a great opportunity for you to connect with this highly underrepresented Pacific Island community event, create space, and grow together.
To make this event a huge success, support our local businesses and vendors, and reach and engage as many people as possible in this unique festival, we are asking for your assistance. Will you kindly support and actively participate in growing our community with us? We are very grateful for your donations. Your generosity will help fund the event, marketing, production fees, technical expenses and permits, and acquiring of airfare and lodging for guest artists, performers, practitioners, and cultural specialists. Additionally, your business/organization will be featured on our website.
Want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Te Ao Mana Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. Mahalo nui loa in advance for your generosity and contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
