Hi, I have thought long and hard about doing this as I feel uncomfortable asking for any money or help from others but things have reached a point where I feel I have to.

As those of you who are close to me know, Liam has been suffering with chronic severe neck and head pain for many years. He has been unable to work or felt well enough to engage at times due to this and if has all had a huge impact on our family.

Most recently, be was hospitalised for a week after suffering an episode of pain so extreme he was left in unmanageable pain and needing to be hospitalised and given IV morphine.. He was also found to have suffered a heart attack following this episode, which has been hugely traumatic for us all. NHS services have not be consistent or able to manage/ investigate what is happening with him and we have been left again with no clear plan or support. Therefore, we would like to be able to access a private specialised consultation and possibly care, to try and get some answers and help Liam get on the road to a better quality of life.
