Hello my loves.  Im coming to you with my heart wide open. The last few months of my life have tested my emotional, spiritual, and physical strength.

Since March of this year, I fell ill with severe anemia, severe bronchitis and pneumonia.  These three things affected my health to the point where I became inmobile, suffered severe swelling, painful nerve damage to my feet, skin ripping stretch marks and the inability to do much about it but cry for strength. To put it simply, my illness changed my my quality of life and brought it to a halt.

I am unable to work, to take care of myself, my home and even take 5 steps without being out of breath or in pain.  The steroids and medicine I was given made me gain anywhere between 80 to 100 lbs in a matter of 4 months.  My highest weight to date is 431 lbs. 

At this time, my lungs are struggling and working at a 60 % capacity, my heart is struggling with pulmonary hypertension, sleep apnea, a blood clot in my right arm and over all painful water retention and swelling over 70 % of my body. I currently weigh 410 lbs.

For those of you who know me, you might remember how well I was doing last year at this time. I was working hard on losing weight and doing great with my cross fit training. I managed to lose about 65 lbs and was just about to start running slowly as I was already jumping rope, boxing and so much more. 

Unfortunately I became ill and now in order to save my life, my health and get back a promising quality of life I am in desperate need of the Gastric Bypass Surgery.

Gastric bypass is the oldest and most common form of weight loss surgery, as surgically it re-routes  a small portion of the stomach to the intestines. This procedure is typically covered by health insurance but I do not have insurance as I am unable to work as a result. I was granted Charity Care for the Hospital but I need to pay the Gastric Surgeon and the Anesthesiologist out of pocket.

I am scheduled to have my surgery November 25th but in order to have the surgery I must pay the surgeon 20 days prior to surgery.  My deadline is November 5 2019 to secure the surgery will be done.

Therefore, with a heavy heart,  I kindly and lovingly ask my friends, my family and anyone who might help me regain a normal quality  of life and become once and for all the girl I once was in that green dress.  Full of potential, health, life, love and promise of a bright beautiful future.

I will continue to do what I must in order to meet my deadline and goal but this time, I desperately and humbly must ask my friends and family to please help me add a drop to my pot of Health in order to help me Heal and Grow and become that lively colorful beautiful butterfly Mima always knew and believed lived within me.

This time, I cannot do it alone...please help me as any little bit helps...please help me spread the word.
