My name is Anthony Keiser. On January 14, 2023, Heidi Keiser, married to my brother, Kevin Keiser, and mother to their five children aged 11 months to 14 years, died after a very sudden onset of streptococcal toxic shock, leading to sepsis, infection, organ failure, and finally, death.

Kevin is now widowed having to take care of the five children himself. Our family has been down this road before. Kevin was the oldest of six children when he lost his mother at the age of 13. He watched as his father had to navigate a new normal, and now Kevin has to find the same for his own children.

For the sake of their development, his hope is to just be able to be present to his children for as long as possible. He also has been left with medical bills from Heidi’s two weeks in the hospital.

The goal of these gifts is to help Kevin and the children with:

Funeral expenses
Medical Deductible
Additional medical expenses
Upcoming necessary childcare costs
Student loans
Travel expenses for family memories and visiting family
Contingency funds to provide Kevin with flexibility

In the event that we exceed this goal, the gifts will continue to support Heidi’s family. Kevin has one child approaching the driving age, and bills will continue to come.
