Please help nine-year-old Heidi Howson, after her leukaemia returned just before her ninth birthday.

Heidi, from Handsworth, was first diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2022 and fought bravely through 27 months of chemotherapy, finally ringing the end-of-treatment bell last November. But heartbreakingly, her cancer has returned, and doctors say a stem cell transplant or CAR-T therapy are now her only chance of recovery.

As many sadly know, with a diagnosis like Heidi's, comes additional difficulties that impact the entire family. Heidi's family will have to take prolonged periods of time off work, and a potential relocation to access the treatment she requires.
