Heidi Hit by Car: Surgery Needed Let’s Get Hedi On Her Paws!

We want to thank everyone for all the donations — they truly mean more than anyone can imagine. At first, amputation was discussed as a more affordable option. We are so grateful to know that Heidi will be able to walk again on all four paws one day.

We were able to get Heidi in for surgery yesterday, 4/30/25. We dropped her off at the Animal Clinic at 5 a.m., where the surgery was performed. She is now home resting and will need to return in two weeks for additional care.

Heidi will require extensive therapy, and our family deeply appreciates any further donations. I will continue to post updates as Heidi's recovery progresses.

Emergency Help Needed for Heidi

On 4/25/25, Heidi the Husky was hit by a car at 10 Mile and Mound in Warren. The driver fled, leaving her seriously injured.

Heidi’s owner immediately got her to the vet, where it was found she has a badly broken leg that needs surgery.

The surgery costs between $12,000 and $15,000.

I'm raising funds on behalf of my neighbor’s daughter, who needs help covering these unexpected costs.
