Help Heidi get Heart procedure
Donation protected
Hi, This is Sue, I train dogs for a living and my wonderful family, friends and neighbors encouraged me to start this Go Fund Me to help Heidi Live Long and Prosper.
Heidi is a 7year old rescue Sheltie who was recently diagnosed with PDA. This means that a hole in her heart never closed when she was a pup and this leads to a heart murmur, enlarged heart and ultimately death if not treated.
We saw a great Cardiologist at VSS in St. Louis and found out there is a procedure to plug that area of her heart. This procedure is totally curative and will result in her heart healing and allowing her to lead a full life.
Even though the procedure is expensive, I would like to give Heidi the chance to live a long, happy life. Especially considering she spent her first 3 years in a cage at a puppymill in Missouri. Heidi now lives with my 92 year old mom, me and 2 other dogs. She takes good care of us (as I am sure she did with her puppies) and brings us much joy. She also goes to work with me to help train new kennel employees and show my training clients what progress you can make with a rescue dog.
Please help Heidi live long and prosper!
