Heidei’s journey with cancer

I’m Darla Modoc, Anthony’s mom and grandma to Heidei and Anthony’s 3 children. I have had the pleasure of spending many nights and days in the hospital with Heidei over the past couple of months. This young lady is absolutely amazing! She has endured 3 full rounds of different chemotherapy treatments and a full round of radiation.  She selflessly chose to put her own life at risk and give premature birth to baby Hayden at 27 weeks.  She had no detectable leukemia cells in her blood for approximately two weeks. This past Friday the cancer team told her that the cancer is back and is not responding to the chemo. They told her that she has lost her battle with cancer and they are expecting her to pass within a few days. She has been awake and alert the majority of the past few days. She has been able to express her wishes and get her affairs in order.  Her main priority is and always has been her children. No amount of money will ever be able to replace their mommy! I’m asking that you please support Heidei by donating to her 3 children and their father.  The breathing tube will be removed on Wednesday and only God knows how much more time she will have here on earth.
