4x4x48 challenge
I'm Running the 4x4x48 Challenge for Men's Mental Health
From June 13th to 15th, 2025, I’ll be taking on one of the toughest endurance tests: running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours—that’s 12 runs and 48 miles in just two days.
This challenge is deeply personal to me.
After stepping away from professional rugby, I found myself struggling with the transition—mentally, emotionally, and physically. It was endurance sports that gave me a new purpose, helping me rediscover happiness, structure, and sanity in a very different chapter of life.
Now, I’m using this challenge to raise awareness and funds for men's mental health, supporting the incredible work of the Black Dog Institute—a leader in mental health research, education, and support programs in Australia.
1 in 8 men will experience depression, and far too many suffer in silence. It’s time we normalise the conversation around mental health and make sure no one feels alone in their struggle.
I’m running for every man who’s quietly fighting a battle.
And I’m asking for your support—whether it’s through a donation, sharing this page, or a message of encouragement.
Every step I take is for a cause that matters.
Let’s run toward change, together.
Thank you.
