We are raising funds to purchase our home from the US Government, specifically the USDA. We were able to qualify for a USDA Rural Development loan in 2017 but have been struggling to keep the home and make mortgage payments ever since.

We have 3 children living in the home with special needs. Our oldest daughter is 11. M loves to play with Legos and take care of animals. She attends school with a 504 and has many mental and medical health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, asthma, and sleep apnea. Our son is 9 and loves to play video games and learn new things. T has Autism Spectrum Disorder and would have a very difficult time being uprooted from the home he's lived in for the last 8 years and the school district he's come to be understood in. Our youngest is 7 years old. She loves unicorns and dolls and playing with her friends. H was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis when she was 2 years old. She suffers from chronic pain and inflammation and is an ambulatory wheelchair user.

I also have numerous mental and medical health complications, including anxiety, depression, arthritis, and chronic pain. I spend my time seeing to the children's intensive mental and physical needs as well as doing my best to care for myself and the house, leaving my husband to supply the only income. Despite having a decent position earning a decent wage, we still fall under the social definition of poverty and do our best to keep up with monthly bills, doctor visits, prescriptions, and the rising costs of gas and groceries.
