We’ve not only reached but exceeded the funeral target — Alhamdulillah. Meat & Eat has also covered the cost of the flight. Every remaining penny will now go directly to her family and be used to build a water well in her name, ensuring her legacy continues to bring blessings.
On October 11th, our sister Heena, a 24-year-old Indian Muslim student, tragically lost her life after being run over. It was a hit and run, police investigations are ongoing and 2 people have been arrested. She had no family here in the UK and came from a humble background back home in India.
Heena came here with hopes and dreams for a better future — and now, as a community, it’s our duty to come together to give her the respect, love, and dignity she deserves.
Meat & Eat will be organising her funeral and keeping everyone updated.
Al Momin Funeral Services have kindly offered their services free of charge, and Dawud Azim from Meat & Eat will personally cover the cost of flying her body back home to India.
We are now raising funds to support Heena’s family back home and to cover any additional funeral or repatriation costs.
Please keep Heena in your duas, share this page, and contribute whatever you can. Every donation, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping her family during this heartbreaking time.
May Allah grant Heena Jannatul Firdaus and ease the pain of her loved ones. Ameen.
