Hedvig - Collapse Album Funding

Hello!

We are Hedvig, a Thrash Metal Band from Freiburg, Germany. Having released our first album „Regain Control“ in March 2022, we quickly went on to continue composing new songs to make a new album and keep the project going. Now two years later we are finally there, having poured our heart and soul into this new record „Collapse“, bound to be released on November 8th 2024. We are extremely proud of this album. It has old and new ideas that have been meticulously crafted into songs that show the many facets we try to bring into our music. Being more progressive, outgoing and gathering many different inspirations, „Collapse“ is a better, updated version of what Hedvig has to offer musically.

But our intensive creative work is not all that goes into making an album like this : being two students and an independent media artist, the cost of production has far exceeded our means. Although we have managed to record the entire album ourselves, which saved us a lot of money, we are mixing and mastering it professionally at Iguana Studios in Freiburg, where our good friend Christoph Brandes worked his magic on our tracks. The studio costs as well as the costs for promotion (music videos, setting up online merch, a new and better website etc.) are still pending and that‘s where YOU come into play :
