Hedi the Chow, is in ER (from a hit and run car)

Hi, if you know my dog, Hedi the chow chow. I always say this, “it’s hedis world I’m just living in it”
Hedi was hit by a car (a hit and run) in Honolulu, Hawai’i 72 hours ago when he ran out of the house after the neighborhood cat and was hospitalized at blue Pearl speciality hospital and emergency room (that was recommended to us by his normal veterinary clinic, pure paws Hell’s Kitchen).
Hedi and I landed in nyc today 8/8 and at 630pm, I took him to the ER room bc he wasn’t moving, limping and had blood shot eyes and shallow breathing. It is 8/8 at 1044pm in Brooklyn and I was presented an estimate for one day of care for the low total of $6974 and high total of $7924+ and am being told that he needs to be overnighted, with at minimum 12 hour care by multiple nurses, needs multiple x rays and radiographs under anesthesia and possibly a mri and ct scan.
I am being quoted this amount for just one day of care and can not afford this as I have spent the last 3/30-8/31 healing from an injury from the Himalayas and have spent my life savings on healing my own injury where I was failed to be medically reimbursed by Faye travel insurance.
I can not afford $8k x 14 days = $112,000 and am being told that at minimum it would be one week of care.
Right now what I need is for the week of care or at least the very least for one day of his medication and treatment to be started which is the $7924 cost from his injury.
If you can please help me help my dog, it would mean the world to me. I will be extremely transparent and honest with every single hospital bill and invoice from this and his time spent to getting better but right now I am so very frustrated that they will not release him to me or continue on any treatment without me paying the minimum balance, which is $7449 (and that’s just for todays 12 hours of care).
I’ve included photos of the additional estimates I’ve received for his post care from this emergency visit but right now I am asking for help, that I can save my dog so he can be overnighted and that I can afford more than 12 hours of care if it is not better.
It is 1054pm and I have not seen hedi since checking him since 623pm to the emergency room and do not know anything more than these costs and that he is on an IV, needs more X-rays and has to be at minimum overnighted to stabilize his health.
If you can please help me save my dog, I will do anything, go and work wherever my camera takes me as soon as he is fully recovered but right now I am asking if you can please share or repost our story and please help me save my dog, hedi.

UPDATE 8/8 12:50am (been at the er since 630pm) - THANK YOU SO MUCH i have adjusted the goal from $50,000 (this was budgeted to 2 weeks of care) to $25,000 (what I am confident on working and doing on my own w my work as long as I can afford hedi one week of care) as hedi’s bill at bluepearl veterinary partners Brooklyn is $7924.53 for the 8/8/23 630pm-630am appt:
As for his next appt, 9/9 I am looking into less expensive options in New York for his follow up appt & have made a follow up appointment w pure paws Hell’s Kitchen on 9/9 at 12pm (price / estimate for what needs to be done unknown)
As for the donations raised, gofundme: $3590 has been raised- THANK YOU SO MUCH ($7449 is needed, before I pick him up) as that is the cost of care for the ER services. In Venmo I have received $850 and will be posting a thank you and follow up on here of who. Thank you again so much. I am being told that he will need multiple follow ups in the next two weeks and have been given various quotes which are the bills below.
What is needed today and tomorrows appt is at min $15k. I am going to be gifting film to the film community who donated and prints to the larger donations.

Currently at BluePearl speciality + veterinary emergency care - Brooklyn
Just spent 630pm-317am at the ER room and am so beyond grateful for being able to raise the funds for his appt and want to say how much we appreciate you and thank you so so so much. We were able to have Hedi approved for overnight care; set up a 12pm appt for tomorrow at pure paws Hell’s Kitchen. the gofundme is processing my banking information and hoping that these funds will be accessible in 3-5 business days. After going back and forth with BluePearl, Hedi is being overnighted and is being given the following treatment plan.
The funds raised tonight went towards an emergency consultation, radiograph on his chest and abdomen, (I need to still be able to afford his limbs, they refused to do the X-ray on this, I do not know why they wouldn’t do this all at once, the additional cost was $3363) and I didn’t have access to the go fund me funds, as they become available 9/15. He was admitted at 3am after the bill was paid and will be overnighted on an IV catheter with fluid therapy, with 12 hours of nursing overnight care, to stabilize his condition. What he needs next is a radiology appointment that can do an ultrasound and X-ray/MRI or CT (unsure yet until I pick him up on 9/9 at 11am from Brooklyn to transfer him to 9/9 12pm to Manhattan his vet appointment to address the two additional costs that were unpaid for, the cbc & idexx chemistry panel ($208.25 + $472.50).
What was paid tonight thanks to the funds raised was the 50% deposit of the $6374.96 appt, and was quoted originally $3226.46 and bc my card declined twice, they removed the miscellaneous price of $300 on the bill and charged me $2969.
I am writing this on 9/9 at 637am and have spent from 630pm to 637am and am trying to figure out how to afford the remaining fee of his $6374.96 appt and also afford the 9/9 12pm pure paws appt and the $3363 X-ray costs for his limbs.

I need to pay $3363 for the 4 additional X-rays he needs + The pure paws vet appt, have not received an appt on this yet, but have an idea for his blood labs the cbc & idexx chemistry panel ($208.25 + $472.50: $686.75) + his immunotherapy (idk how much) + radiology specialist (unsure of this cost what the ultrasound will cost) + what follow up appt he needs from 9/9-9/23.
I’ve been awake since I landed in nyc from hawaii and have been going nonstop since I landed at 7am on 9/8… it’s 6:44am on 9/9 and I’m leaving queens at 10am to pick him up in Brooklyn then go from Brooklyn to Manhattan from 10am to 11am to get him early and on time, for his 12pm appt so blood labs can be done and a radiology specialist appt can be made for next week. I’m extremely underslept but so incredibly thankful and moved by everyone who has helped me tonight. Thank you.
