Hedgehog Rehabilitation Cabin

Hi everybody! We have started this crowdfunding page for a specific project happening here at Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary. A hedgehog rehabilitation cabin. We are very excited to start this development at wws... hedgehogs will get their own building, complete with study room for microscope work . We plan on running hedgehog first aid classes from this building which will be open to the public to attend.

This building will enable us to help more hedgehogs , with plans to expand with 50 more hedgehog units and enclosures.

With hedgehogs having their own building, this will create space in our main rehab cabin for more bird enclosures too , benefiting other areas around the charity.

For every donor who has participated in donating towards this project, their name will be put onto a plaque on the building. A donation of £150 (the cost of each hedgehog unit) will give you a plaque on hedgehog enclosures themselves.

Founded in 2009, Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary (registered charity CIO 1185213) is a Wildlife Rescue Centre, in North Yorkshire, covering the whole of the North East. We are dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. Every year, we admit and care for over 3000 animals. From hedgehogs to deer, barn owls to gannets, we cater for all species of UK wildlife. Our aim is to return them to the wild where they belong after successful rehabilitation.
