Hi my name is Tracey and I am raising funds for Hedgehog Rescue Chipping Sodbury Summer appeal. We are currently admitting a lot of mums and hoglets. This is a busy time for rescues like ours and care of baby hedgehogs is round the clock and quickly empties the pockets of the rescue. Hoglets admitted without their mums require specialist feeding and care in one of our incubators. Abandoned hoglets will also need to move through the rescue in various specialist areas so they can learn to be hedgehogs before they are released. During periods of dry weather more adults will be admitted due to dehydration. This componded with the numerous garden injuries due to strimmers and netting results in a severe drain on the finances of the rescue. The ever rising cost of vet care and feed means once again our finances are fast disappearing. Please help us to continue to operate over this extremely busy time.
