Hi!

Our little hedgehog, Perci just got diagnosed with carcinoma on 9.19.2025. He has a large lump on his chest that has rapidly dividing cells. The lump also had an infection so he will be on antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory via oral syringe for 10 days. We love him dearly and worry the lump will grow larger, potentially limiting his mobility with his front right leg. Skin cancer is common in hedgehogs and unfortunately there is no way to stop it or reverse the tumor that has grown. Our best recommendation at this point from his veterinarian is surgery to remove the tumor, which will cost up to $3,000. We will do what we can in the meantime by monitoring the lump and giving him his medications, but obviously this is a hefty cost that has quickly burdened us. Perci will be able to live happily & normally after surgery. Any donation at all would be appreciated to make his surgery possible and would mean so much to us.
