Hector’s Reading Fund

My name is Alejandra, Hector's daughter. Hector passed away on July 4, 2022. This GoFundMe is to honor the memory of my Dad's time volunteering at Ramona Elementary School in El Paso, TX. This wonderful opportunity was organized through the coworkers of Freeport McMoRan, the company he worked with for 22 years.

My Dad visited the school each week for many years. He loved to spend time with the kids, reading to them, telling them jokes and doing his famous finger tricks.

All funds will be donated to Romona Elementary School to carry out Hector's love of reading and laughter.
