Help Hector Cervantes on His Long Road to Recovery
Hi, my name is Christian Cervantes, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help for my brother, Hector Cervantes.
Hector has been in the hospital for over a month now after a sudden medical emergency placed him on life support. It was one of the scariest moments our family has ever faced. Thankfully, he pulled through and was taken off life support a couple of weeks ago—but the fight is far from over.
Right now, Hector still can’t speak, but he recognizes family and friends. That spark gives us hope—hope that he’s still fighting, still with us, and determined to heal. His recovery will be long and challenging, involving months of therapy, rehabilitation, and round-the-clock care.
Our family is doing everything we can, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Medical bills, time off work, and long-term care costs are stacking up fast. We’re asking for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page. No amount is too small, and every bit of support truly makes a difference.
Anyone who knows Hector knows how proud he was to serve as a Captain for Local 213. He’s always been strong, hardworking, and full of heart—and now, he needs our help.
We believe in Hector, and we believe in the strength of community. With your support, we know he can make it through this.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and generosity.
—Christian Cervantes
