Hector Salazar's Funeral Expenses

45 years ago, an angel was born, Hector Salazar. A son, brother, father, and friend. He loved spending time with his family. He was a very hard and talented worker who was the main provider for his family.

 

He made us laugh, he made us cry but most of all he always shared that beautiful contagious smile. He was always the life of the party, always ready to help at any given time and for sure ready to love always. An unconditional friend, BOLD and honest when needed.

 

He will be missed more than words can express. Everyone who knew him, knew that he was very cheerful, kind, gracious and supportive. His hospitality touched everyone who entered his home. There will be no one who can replace him. He was truly one of a kind.

 

He leaves behind a great woman, Athena that was always by his side and affectionally called him “my baby-cakes”, four beautiful children Anthony, Harleigh, Eddie and Christian, an unborn child, a big family, and a great group of friends who he affectionately called “my union brothers and sisters” who loved him from ILWU Local 26.

 

You left behind family and many friends. You will be waiting for us on the other side with open arms and that contagious smile when we arrive. We miss, love and will carry in our hearts forever.
