Hector R. Jimenez

It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the passing of a great man and beloved father Hector Rodrigues Jimenez, better known as "Granpita." Granpita, was the name bestowed upon our father by his grandchildren but later embraced by many due to his loving, playful, and nurturing nature. He had a special way of making everyone feel like family and this is why many adopted the name for him. For most, Granpita was as much a part of them as they were to him. He never discriminated between one person or the next, (not even his own family) but rather embraced everyone for who they were. He always did his best to help those around him. And he gave himself fully and unconditionally.

It is for this reason and more that his passing comes as such a devastating blow. In addition to facing the difficulty of such a profound loss, our family is now facing a financial challenge in covering funeral costs.

Therefore, we are reaching out to our community, friends, and loved ones for help in laying our father to rest. If you can make any contribution, however small, it would be much appreciated.

We thank you all in advance. Thank you for forming part of our family. For loving our father so deeply and for sharing in such a wonderful life. We love you all very much.
