Hello my name is Val and I'm Hector's daughter...On March 22nd my Dad found out that he had cancer...And on April 2nd is when we found out that my Dad had Stage 4 Lung Cancer...He went through 1 round of chemo and from there it went downhill. He ended up in the ICU on April 27th and while in the ICU he had a seizure and they had intubate him do to him having sepsis and his hemoglobin being very low...All this came at such a shock since we had just spoken to him that Monday...A week later my family and I had to make the biggest decision of our lives that would impact us forever and that was to take my dad off the machines and let him go so he would no longer be in pain on Friday May 7th my dad passed at 8:40pm...The money we're trying to raise will go to giving my dad the proper burial he deserves...My dad was the greatest father ever to my brother Kris and I and a awesome Tata to his grandson Nathan... if you knew my Dad you knew he was full of life he loved his siblings very much, and was a great boyfriend to his long time girlfriend Deby of 26yrs whom he loved dearly... My Dad was full of life you never saw him mad or angry always had a smile on his face and was always so loud lol...This all came so fast and hard on us we never got a chance to talk about what he would've wanted I know things are hard on some ppl right now due to Covid still being around but anything and everything helps...Thank you so much in advanced.
