Hello, my name is Armando Torres. I am a public school teacher at Helen Keller Elementary in Lynwood, California. Hector Inda is one of my students. On July 14th, Hector was involved in a car accident. The accident resulted in Hector sustaining life-threatening injuries, which consisted of internal bleeding from his brain and liver, and all of his ribs were broken.

Today, July 20th, he responds by moving his eyes. He is being fed through a tube.

The money is needed for the family. The mother who has been spending every day in the hospital is a single mother with limited financial means. Thus, the money raised will help her tremendously with living costs.
