he.ceed's No Fear Case Fundraise

해씨드 (he.ceed)는 뉴욕 뉴프론티어교회의 ceed 대학청년 공동체에 소속되어 있습니다. 장기화된 팬데믹을 함께 헤쳐나가자는 취지로 올해 6월부터 대학생, 사회초년생, 멘토들이 함께 온라인으로 모여 매주 회의를 통해 프로젝트들을 기획해 나가고 있습니다. 현재 우리가 살아가는 어둠 속에서 하나님의 햇살처럼 따뜻한 사랑, 헤세드를 비추고 싶어 모인 프로젝트 팀입니다.  

해씨드 (he.ceed) is a project group under New Frontier Church’s college & young adults ministry, ceed. Since June of this year, college students, young adults, and mentors have been holding weekly virtual meetings to design, plan, and execute projects in finding creative ways to overcome the pandemic. We gathered with the hopes to shine God’s warm love, hessed [acts of loving kindness], to the world we live in now that seems so dark.



해씨드는 지난 몇달간 데일리말씀 공유로 시작해 사역자 인터뷰, ceed 소개영상, 달력 배경화면 등등 소셜 미디어를 적극 활용해 선한 콘텐츠를 확장해 나가고 있습니다. 그 중 하나가 바로 <No Fear Case>입니다. 모두에게 두려움을 가져다준 팬데믹 상황 속 일상에서도 우리는  다른 이들에게 쉽고 간단하게 사랑의 메시지를 전달 할 수 있는 “굿즈”라는 매체를 선택했습니다. 굿즈를 통해 전달할 메시지를 생각하면서 저희 해씨드 팀은 다같이 모여 요한일서 4장 18절을 묵상했습니다.

To reflect the love of God, we have created and shared daily bible verse images, calendar backgrounds and video contents, and other projects on social media. One of them is he.ceed Team Box. We believe No Fear Case can easily deliver the message of God’s love in these turbulent times. In preparation of <No Fear Case>, the he.ceed team meditated on 1 John 4:18 together. 


이 말씀에 비춰 우리는 ‘NO FEAR IN LOVE’ 라는 주제로 굿즈를 제작하였습니다. 이 제품은 한치 앞도 예상할 수 없는 터널속을 걷고 있는 모두에게 사랑 안에는 두려움이 없다는 것을 기억하게 할 수 있는 <No Fear Case> 입니다. 

Reflecting the passage, we created <No Fear Case> with the theme of ‘NO FEAR IN LOVE.’ For all of us who are in fear of the uncertainties in life, we hope these items will be a reminder that there is no fear in the love of God.  

<No Fear Case>로 이루어지는 수익금 전액은 뉴욕의 저소득층 아이들의 교육환경 개선을 위해 사용됩니다. 팬데믹으로 인해 모든 수업이 온라인으로 이루어지고 있는 가운데 아직도 배울 수 없는 환경에 놓인 학생들이 많습니다. 공부를 위해 필수 항목이 되어버린 인터넷 서비스, 수업을 위해 필요한 기기, 또 집중할 수 있는 공간은 누군가에게는 흔하고 당연한 것일 수도 있지만 누군가에게는 간절히 필요한 것들이기도 합니다.

All of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to children from low-income families in NYC. While the pandemic has brought all classrooms to be virtual, many students are not in the right environment for remote learning. Electronic devices, access to the Internet, and uninterrupted, quiet space are things that most of us take for granted, but for many children these have become the prerequisites for education which they cannot afford. 

우리는 하나님이 우리에게 베푸시는 사랑을 알았고, 또 믿습니다. 우리가 사랑하는 이유는 하나님이 우리를 먼저 사랑하셨기 때문입니다. 우리는 그 분의 사랑 안에 흠뻑 잠기어 담대함으로 이 세상을 살아가길 원합니다. 그리고 우리는 그 사랑을 <No Fear Case>를 통해 ‘NO FEAR IN LOVE’이라는 메시지로 주변 이들과 나누고 우리의 다음세대에게 전달하고 싶습니다. (요한일서 4장 16절, 19절)

We have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. We love because He first loved us. Immersed in His love, we have confidence and courage to take bold steps day by day. Through <No Fear Case>, we hope to reflect His love and share the message of ‘NO FEAR IN LOVE’ to those around us and to the next generation. (1 John 4: 16, 19)


판매에 목적을 두지 않고, 여러 사람들과 뜻을 모아 사랑의 한 형태를 함께 실현시킬 수 있는 기부를 위해 GoFundMe를 선택했습니다. 

Since our final goal is not to make profit through sales but to help spread the love, we chose GoFundMe as the platform to reach beyond our church community and bring people together on a greater scale.
