Heber's Road to Healing

To know Heber is to love Heber. On our annual Lake Powell trip this year, Heber was in a terrible accident. While going for a daily boat ride, we stopped by a rope swing to enjoy some fun.

Heber climbed to do the rope swing, and as he jumped, he hit his feet on a rock and fell 50+ feet down, hitting the rocks on his way down to the water. Definitely an image that will live rent-free in all our brains for life.

Thankful for our amazing group of friends who were able to pull him out of the water and onto the boat to get him back to the marina. He was life-flighted out of Antelope Point Marina to St. George Hospital.

Heber sustained a broken pelvis, two fractured feet, a laceration on his foot, broken ribs, internal bleeding, and many bruises.

His amazing wife, Aubrey, has been by his side through everything, making sure he feels loved and comfortable.

He has had surgery on his pelvis and has a tough road to recovery. Any help is appreciated to help with medical bills and his time off work.
