Hello, my name is Kat, and I’m fundraising for my daughter, who has spent the past year in hospital with a complex medical condition.

She was initially paralysed but, through sheer determination, has learnt to walk again. However, some of her other functions have been affected due to the long period of immobility.

There’s a piece of specialist equipment that could really support her recovery, but unfortunately, it isn’t available through the NHS. It’s called a Pullsetto and costs £500.

I haven’t been able to work during this time, as I’ve been by her side throughout her recovery. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a huge difference in helping my daughter regain her strength and independence.
