Save Heavy Cardboard from Demolition!

Hey y'all. I'm Edward Uhler and I run Heavy Cardboard, a YouTube channel and podcast that teaches, plays, and discusses medium and heavy board games. I've been hosting the show for 11 years total and running it as my full-time job for about 8 of those years. Over the life of the show, we have produced over 2,000 videos and podcasts for the board gaming hobby.
The studio is located just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, in the town of Wakefield. Recently, I have been informed that the building is scheduled for demolition and that we need to be out by September 1st. This was completely unexpected, and it has put me and Heavy Cardboard in quite the difficult position. I make my living by hosting Heavy Cardboard, but while it pays the bills, it certainly does not make enough to be able to afford an unexpected teardown and move. Simply put, I can't afford to move Heavy Cardboard. The greater Boston area is, unfortunately, an expensive part of the country to live in. Moving from here isn't an option as my whole life is here (my partner & family and our game group), so here we are.
I am trying to raise a total of $19,000 which will cover the following things:
- 1st month's rent, Last month's rent, and the security deposit on the space
- 1 year's difference in rent between the current location and the new location
- Moving expenses
- The cost of materials to setup the new studio
Any funds above the goal will be used to upgrade the studio (lights, camera, etc).
Hosting Heavy Cardboard has been a very surreal experience, and I feel very fortunate to be able to do this on a daily basis. So while this has been a very stressful (and honestly scary) situation, I am keeping a positive attitude and hope that, with your help, Heavy Cardboard will continue.
Thank you for whatever support that you are able to provide.
****Edit: Wow, the original funding goal was met during the Kickoff Live-stream, and thru everyone's recommendations, they suggested to keep building on for upgrades to the studio & an emergency fund, so that's why the funding goal is higher than the original. Thank you all so much!***
