With a heavy heart, I share the passing of my father, Cory Aiwohi Sr. My dad was our rock, he was an amazing father. He loved to be a dad, a grandpa, a son, a brother, a fiance, a cousin and a friend. He was selfless in doing and giving what he could, always working hard for us. Always brightening up our day.

Our lives changed in an instant and we are living a new reality that seems unbelievable. We are so very heartbroken to lose him suddenly, but thankful for all the times we shared.

On October 10, 2021, my father checked into Kuakini Medical Center after testing positive for Covid-19. He fought hard and bravely for three weeks to overcome this disease, beating the odds until things took a tragic turn. On November 6, 2021, the doctor called and asked us to go to the hospital to say our final farewells.

Covid crept up unexpectedly and shattered my family, and I know we are not alone in this fight. Many other families have been affected by this devastating disease as well.

At this time, we are without life insurance, and due to how Loves Bakery closed down, any assistance there is not possible. The whole ordeal has left us in disbelief & uncertainty.

We are hoping to raise money to give my father a proper send-off. Any donation you can afford during this difficult time would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
