UPDATE:

As of November 19 Heaven is on track to receive her last bag of chemotherapy making it her seventh straight bag. She has been receiving chemotherapy for seven straight days around the clock. On the third day of chemotherapy her doctors introduced an additional chemotherapy on top of the first one she was already receiving. The doctors informed her that she would most likely not see any side effects from the chemotherapy until two weeks out. The doctors also have high hopes this will do the trick and she will be in remission. Heaven is in good spirits and we hope she remains that way. This is something I never thought I would be writing, but my name is Taylor Darby and on Monday, November 11th, 2024, my best friend of 21 years, Heaven Piazza, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer called Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and she will need to undergo extensive chemotherapy to combat this type of cancer. She was informed by doctors she will need to be in the hospital for at least a month during all of this.

She is a selfless mother of two who currently resides in Brazoria, Tx. with her 2 kids. Her close friends and I decided to start a GoFundMe to help not only with medical bills but also her monthly bills. We are all in utter shock at the recent news of our sweet, amazing friend. Aside from the GoFundMe, we will also be having a link sale and a silent auction (will update with more information on that at a later time) with all proceeds going straight to help Heaven fight the fight of her life.
