Heaven's Fight! Bravest Girl I know...

Donation protected
HEAVEN is my beautiful young and strong fighting teenage daughter.

We have been in and out of the hospital since she was a baby. Heart surgery in 2006, Scalp Cyst in 2011, stomach issues since elementary school. In 2012 we found out her cerebellum was a few centimeters off giving her severe head & neck pain.
Heaven has always pushed through showing everyone her inner strength and the unstoppable courage to push through this journey we call life.

It is now July 11th, 2019 and my daughter hasn't had solid food in 3 weeks, Once again, We have been in and out of hospital since January  and finally diagnosed in March with Intestinal Malrotation, A diagnose that is usually given as a baby or an infant but was miss diagnosed as a child.
Due to the high risk of intestinal twisting and blockage which could lead to death, surgery was the only option.

Her first surgery was 06/20/2019 and she seemed great, she even walked the very first night. Unfortunately, she had complications.

Heaven has an obstruction not allowing her to eat and process any food. Heaven is producing a high amount of green bile
that is getting stuck in her stomach and at times forcefully entering her throat, a burning bloating and painful process. If not for her NG tube consistently pumping out bile/stomach acids, she will uncontrollably vomit and feel dizzy.  There are times blood comes out the NG tube as her stomach is so raw and delicate. (picture attached)

My daughter has gone through a great amount of pain! There were moments she begged the nurses not to shove a tube down her nose through her mouth down her throat to her stomach. She screamed like I have never heard anyone scream in so much pain.
She shut down the first few days and stopped talking for two weeks because the pain was to much to bear . She now speaks 10% of the time,  but some days are better than others. long hours in bed have given her muscle spasms.

Heaven's stomach is so  inflamed that a s surgery too soon will put her at a higher risk of major complication and  anesthesia on her heart wasn't advisable measurement.

3 days after the NG tube was inserted, Heaven was placed on TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) Image and pictures attached. Its a large IV looking catheter that enters through her upper arm and is place right above her heart.

No matter what life has thrown at Heaven, she has always been incredibly resilient. Passion for life and her hobby the gym, 5 days out of 7 lifting, squatting, wrestling, swimming and running.

Heaven is my rock and my everything, my only daughter and currently heart broken she is going through so much pain and despair.

Heaven is scheduled to go back into surgery in the next week or two and we will be in the hospital easily one more month. My baby will need to see specialists for the next year. Counseling, ENT, Dietitian's and Neurologist.

***During the first week my daughter was hospitalized I lost my job, and in the next 19 days I will lose my insurance. I was given the option of cobra insurance about $1,100.00 per month with higher out of pocket expenses. But under the circumstance a major necessity***

The funds will be used to
pay for insurance, out of pocket expenses, hospital stay, medicines, daily simple things like food, gas for transportation, rent and the recovery to will my daughter back to her feet is crucial.

~ Our situation is urgent and I hope you can be kind enough to help my daughter Heaven.
For all of you, who have a loved one that means the world to you, please lend a helping hand.
Asking for you compassion in making  a difference in a young girls life.~
Sincerely,
Mom
