My name is Katey Higgins, on behalf of our family, I am starting this fundraiser for the benefit of my youngest sister, Emily Podhorsky, and her sons, Logan and Thomas.

On November 19, 2022 Logan and Thomas lost their father and Emily lost her husband and best friend of over 20 years, John A. Podhorsky. John and Emily started as high school sweethearts and over the course of their time together were blessed with 2 amazing sons. They worked hard to build a life together and provide for their boys. Through the building of their family and life together, John became the main provider of their family and this loss of income has only added to the stress and concern for Emily and the boys while they create their new normal and figure out what comes next.

John’s sudden passing has devastated our family and we are all striving to support Emily and the boys in every way possible. We are praying that you will help us lighten their burden. Any donations received will go directly to Emily to assist with funeral expenses, household bills, completing repairs on the home (that John will no longer be able to finish) and any expenses that may come up.
