This is my beautiful sister Heather! Everyone knows she is an amazing friend and she loves to give to others! She has no idea I am doing a fundraiser for her. Shhhh!

8 years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and beat it ( we are so grateful) but lost all of her hair permanently due to the chemo drug taxotere. A 1% chance of having this side effect. After being unemployed for 6 months twice since the pandemic Heather has been unable to get a wig covered by insurance. Although she is currently employed, these wigs are very expensive and she needs all the help she can get. Heather has been following and dreaming of going to the Wig Fairy, a popular social media account and wig shop in LA. They had a pop up here in Charlotte in March and Heather and I went. She purchased two so that she could alternate between them so they won’t wear out as quickly. They each cost about $3,000 because they are real human hair. With these wigs she feels more like herself, she is comfortable (they don’t get as hot), the wigs are easy to style and wash, they were custom fit to her head so they don’t slide, and Heather lit up when she put them on!
