Hi, My name is Susan, my daughter Heather has been suffering with superior mesenteric artery syndrome for 14 years. She has undergone numerous surgeries, hospital stays, infections, feeding tubes, and keeps fighting against this rare disease. We have been working with UCLA Transplant Team for the last 16 months taking every test that have requested. A miracle call from the Transplant Team was given to us 12/1 and she has been accepted to undergo this transplant, we had given up on the transplant the week before. Please help us support her hospital stay, which can be anywhere from 10 days or more. We appreciate any support, that will go toward all expenses while being hospitalized in UCLA.
