MY MOM'S ROAD TO RECOVERY AFTER BOMB EXPLOSION

Early Sunday morning I woke up to the worst phone call I could ever imagine. My mom was a victim of a bomb explosion and in ICU. She has currently gone threw multiple surgeries and has had half of her right arm and two fingers from her left hand amputated, Her other 3 fingers reconstructed. Her right femur snapped in half and major skin loss/exposure to her right thigh. She will be spending quite some time in the hospital before she is able to move to a rehabilitation center to start her road to recovery and learn how to walk again as well as learning how to live her new life with no right hand and only 3 fingers on her left hand. She will need one on one care from here on out and help with all medical expenses/ambulance costs and monthly bills that are going to start building up. I am by her bed side everyday from sun up to sun down doing everything I possibly can to make sure shes got the care and love she needs but it is also going to be very difficult financially for me as I'm also trying to balance my job and am a single mother of 3 little ones so I will not be working for the time being so I can be there full time for her.
