Heather's Last Memories Fund

My name is Bri Weeks and I am starting this Go Fund me on behalf of my soul sister Heather Lucas and the Lucas family. Heather Lucas is a wife, mother, daughter, friend, and the list goes on. Heather was first diagnosed with breast cancer April 5, 2016. Heather was advised to do a double mastectomy, followed by chemo, and radiation, by doing so she would have less than a 1% chance of recurrence. Heather followed Doctor’s advice. She underwent the double mastectomy, reconstructive surgeries, chemo, and radiation. She was on her way to healthy cancer free life. Unfortunately for Heather and the Lucas family, a cancer free life was not in God’s plan for her, she was in that 1%. In mid -March of 2018, Heather followed a gut instinct that something wasn’t right in her body and scans showed the cancer had returned with a vengeance. This time it was different it was Metastatic throughout her whole body. Her doctor then informed her that she was indeed terminal and this disease would end her life. Heather now has weeks to live and the goal of this funding account is to create limitless memories for her children, and to assist her husband with the financial burden he is now experiencing and allow Heather to enjoy her final days.
