Heather's Journey: Let's Lend a Hand

Hello, friends and family of Heather,

I am starting this GoFundMe for someone who deserves the world—my best friend, Heather. She is the kind of person that lights up every room, lifts others up constantly, gives selflessly, and loves her people fiercely with an open heart.

Heather is always the first to show up if someone needs help. She somehow knows just what to say to brighten your day, and is the very definition of kindness. I often joke that she's the "mayor," because we can't go anywhere--even other states--without running into someone she knows and has touched in some way.

As many of you know, Heather was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. Thankfully, her prognosis is very good! But the emotional toll of the diagnosis, along with the physical demands of surgery and recovery, are significant--and so are the financial burdens that come with it.

Now, it is our turn to show up for her, just like she's always done for us! Every contribution, big or small, is a way for us to say: "We're here for you. We love you. We've got your back."
