Fighting for More Time — Please Help Us Through This
In the summer of 2023, our world changed forever when I was diagnosed with Stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma — breast cancer. I began treatment right away: chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, radiation, and immunotherapy. We held onto hope with everything we had.
But in the fall of 2024, we got the devastating news that the cancer had spread to my brain. My diagnosis changed to Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Since then, I’ve undergone whole brain radiation and started a new immunotherapy drug — one I will stay on for as long as it continues to work.
This journey has tested me in every way imaginable. It’s been painful, terrifying, and exhausting. But the hardest part has been watching how it’s affected my family — emotionally, physically, and financially.
Even with insurance, we’re facing nearly $10,000 in uncovered medical bills. Every appointment, treatment, scan, and prescription adds up, and it’s become more than we can handle alone.
Asking for help is incredibly hard. But right now, we truly need it. If you're able to donate or even just share this page, it would make such a difference. Your support means more than words can ever say — it gives us hope, strength, and the ability to keep going.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Heather, Antonio, and the boys.
