Heather’s Fearless Fight!
Donation protected
A year ago this weekend Heather texted me two words I will never forget…Breast Cancer. After battling what she thought was an infection after nursing her daughter it turned out it was something totally different! Heather began a battle not only for herself but for her two young daughters and her partner Alex. A battle which this last year has proven she is the ultimate rockstar!
This year she has seen chemo, radiation, a mastectomy, pneumonia and not one but 3 brain tumors all of which she has fought with grace! She has worked, been there for her family and been the “cheer mom” (surprise surprise) She has been told on a few occasions she’s “all clear”
This weekend again, I received a text I did not want “the cancer has spread” a year of the unthinkable and now she is facing the largest part of her uphill battle.
If anyone knows Heather and Alex they know how hard they both work! They are humble people who work harder than most, but I think they need their friends help at this point. I know they’d never ask, I also know that disability only goes so far. This is a mom with two small girls who shouldn’t need to worry financially and a dad who shouldn’t have to work extra hours at this time to get the bills paid.
If you can donate I know they’d appreciate it! If not let’s all please keep Heather in our thoughts!!!
