Donation protected
Heather has been my best friend since middle school, we are now both in our 30s (yikes!). She has always been a big ball of fun loving energy ready to attack the world. Just recently, Heather was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, which we have since learned has spread to her lung. She has already begun her 3 months of chemotherapy, which will be followed by 2 months of radiation and then a final surgery.
The funds I am raising for her are to help with medical bills (as many of you know insurance only covers so much), daily care items to get through chemo, and lost wages.
Heather is adimant that she does not want people to feel obligated to donate, but there has been so many of you who want to help in any way possible. Right now, the financial burden is one of the biggest stresses that we can all pull together and help with.
