My name is Lisa and my dear friend Heather, a devoted wife, loving mother of five, and adoring grandmother, has been fighting one of the toughest battles of her life. Diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck on her 40th birthday this past May, Heather spent the summer enduring 6 weeks of chemotherapy and 36 radiation treatments. Through it all, she never lost her passion for caring for others as a healthcare DSP, putting love and service into every day.

Just when she thought she might be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, doctors found more cancer in her nose—and now, a new tumor has been discovered in her abdomen. Heather faces yet another fight, but her courage, faith, and determination inspire everyone who knows her.

I've created this go fund me to help support Heather through this battle and the many medical expenses that come with it. Every donation is a step closer to giving Heather more time with her family, more moments with her grandchildren, and more days to continue the work she loves so deeply.
