Heather Tod’s stroke recovery

On January 8th, 2022, Heather suffered a massive stroke, which has left her completely paralyzed on her right side and unable to speak. She spent 2 months in the hospital and then another 9 months in a skilled nursing facility working on recovery. The recovery process is very long and slow, so after many months her daughters have made the decision to bring her home to live with them to ensure she gets the best care and support. Heather is still in need of physical, speech and occupational therapies every week and around the clock care.
