Heather Michelle Spear, 36, was tragically taken away on Wednesday, November 30th due to a senseless act of domestic violence. Words cannot express how truly heartbroken we are.

Heather was a ray of sunshine in this dark world. She had the most contagious laugh and a brilliant smile; to know her was to love her. She was kind, loving, forgiving and always looked for the best in every situation. Heather was a huge part of the Food Lion family, and touched so many lives throughout her life.

Heather leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Madison and Bella; her parents, Pat and Rusty; her brother Sean, and sister-in-law, Alisha; Grandma Spear; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; her daughters’ father, Brian; and her very best friend, Amber.

Heather knew it takes a village, and hers was big. To that end, we ask that you contribute to this Go Fund Me campaign to help reduce the financial strain on her family due to the untimely and unexpected nature of her death. These funds will help cover end-of-life expenses and support the living expenses of Madison and Bella in the upcoming months, as the family shifts focus to mourn their loss.
