Help With Heathers Medical Cost!

Good Day, Friends and Island Family,

We need your help to make a life-changing difference for Heather, a loving mother, friend, partner, and hardworking bartender in the US Virgin Islands. Heather has been battling seizures for years, and now she faces a critical medical situation that requires immediate attention.

Heather is not only a devoted mother to baby Odin and a loving partner to Ty but also an essential member of our service industry community as an amazxing bartender. She has always been there for her island family and friends, mixing up drinks and laughs for those who walk through the doors of Dog House Pub and XO Bistro. Despite her own health challenges, she has remained resilient and dedicated to her job and family.

Heather's seizures have taken a toll on her over the years, and now she urgently needs a surgery very close to her spine in her neck that will hopefully prevent future health problems. She will be heading state-side in the upcoming months to receive the care she needs. This procedure comes with significant medical expenses due to health insurance ( it’s very difficult to get health insurance on island with zero privatized insurance providers) and will be an uphill battle for her and her family.

-Current health bills for ER visits and care are around $12,000.00

-Flight up to the states $900.00

-Medical care at Duke in North Carolina $13,000.00

-Rent & utilities while receiving care $2,000.00

-Extra expenses for baby Odin and family while mom is healing $2,000.00

Equating out to about $30,000.00
