During devastating flooding in the Globe-Miami area last night, the Arizona Silver Belt and Copper Country News lost one of our own, Heather Johnson. We want to lessen the burden on Heather’s family during this tragic time by raising the funds for her funeral expenses.

Heather was only 50 years old. She had just beaten cancer and was getting back to life as she knew it when she was taken by the flood in downtown Globe the night of Friday, September 26, 2025.

Please help our newspaper family ease the tragedy of Heather’s loss for her family during this unexpected, life-changing time in their lives.
