In Memory of Heather Fink

Hi everybody, my name is Perjen. For those who don’t know me, I’m Heather’s sister, Carley’s best friend (also known as the bonus daughter or the cooler aunt… don’t tell Carley).

It is with my deepest condolences that I am addressing you all in this form.

This GoFundMe is in honor of Heather Fink, her two children, Jeremiah (12) and Johniyah(8), and her loved ones. Heather passed unexpectedly the morning of September 3rd, 2023. Heather was a beautiful person who constantly gave back to others. She has helped so many people in her community in times of need. Whether it be a back-to-school drive, delving into her passions of spreading awareness of the criminal justice system, or something as simple as helping out a stranger, Heather was known for her kind heart and outspoken nature. She was a wonderful mom, daughter, sister, and friend. As much as she has helped others, it would be my absolute honor to help her family in their time of need.

Due to this unforeseen tragedy, I want to be able to ensure Heather's family can have a proper memorial service and lay her restfully next to her passed loved ones. As you all know, school is in session and this GoFundMe will also help Heather's family be able to take time off from their work/schooling in order to grieve properly, set up arrangements, and take care of the day-to-day responsibilities for the kids.

Please join me in helping support her loving family in this time of need. One small act of kindness goes a long way. Take a moment to pray for her family and keep them in your prayers as they weather this storm. I know without a doubt that Heather’s last wish would be that her kids are taken care of and her village remains strong. Her love will live among us all.
