HEATHER & FAMILY NEED ALL THEIR FAMILY & FRIENDS

Donation protected
Hello to Everyone reading this,

I am April, Heathers little Sister- I am doing this because we all love Heather and her family!

All who know Heather Ellis (Crowe) know she is an amazing human and fights hard for everyone and everything. Unfortunately she is need of her army of friends and family. She has come down with Covid. We all know this virus is nothing to joke about especially for someone like Heather. Heather has an Autoimmune disorder called Graves Disease. She has had her Thyroid removed years ago. She is also allergic to certain medication. When Heather gets sick it takes a toll on her body and takes her much longer to recover than most of us. We all knew if she did get Covid that it would hit her hard. Everyone around was always cautious because no one wanted to see her have to fight this Virus.

A little more background on Heather. She is a Wife, Sister, Daughter, Daughter in-law and most IMPORTANT a Mother of 5 and has 2 grandkids. She worked for CMA for over 20 years until last year. She loves to garden and her yard shows what a great green thumb she has. She loves to bake, cook, entertain and most of all loves to love her family and friends. She is a person you can always go to and she will be there. She made a HUGE decision last year and decided to quit her job and do what she absolutely dreamed to do one day. She opened her own business (Heather Bells) with a wonderful partner (Sarah). They both are doing what they dreamt to do. Everyone is very supportive in this new adventure. Yes it was an adjustment but everything was going great until a few weeks ago.

Heather and Jim (Husband) came down with Covid. Not only is this horrible but it was the worst timing. Jim was about to start a brand new job. He tested positive the day before he was going to start. Thankfully they are being very supportive during all of this. Downfall is their health insurance runs out on October 31st. He will not be able to start his health insurance until he starts and then 60 days after that it will kick in. This is a huge burden on the family right now. This is the reason I am doing this for them.

In the beginning we thought Heather was going to be okay. At that time 3 out of the 6 in the home had Covid. Heathers breathing got worse after being sick for about 8 days. Her Oxygen levels are very low. She was admitted to the Hospital. A lot has happened while she has been in there. They have her on Oxygen (nose tube and nose/face mask), lots of meds- blood thinner, steroids, Remdesivir. Her oxygen levels go up and down. We want them to stay UP!! They have put her on a experimental antiviral drug. We are told this drug has had all positive outcomes. She is eating and drinking. She has had good days and bad days. Her good days are the tiniest of improvements. She has had multiple X-rays on her lungs. So far they are okay for now. She is keeping her Spirits up by being her funny self(Docs and Nurses love her). She loves all the flowers, gift baskets and of course everyone who is helping make sure her household is okay! She worries about others and hopes NO ONE ever gets this virus. We have no end date of when she will be able to come home. I wish it was tomorrow but I can't be greedy.

As of today 5 out of the 6 in the household have tested positive. The kids have been making sure everything is clean and wiped down but they are still getting it. Every time one more person tests positive it pushes the time frame of them to get back to some sort of normalcy (work and school). As of today no one has been able to go to work for 2 full weeks. Now they have another 2 weeks and hopefully no one will be positive. We are thankful for the health of them all at home and are happy they are getting better.

They have so much going on with trying to make sure they get back to good health and are able to make sure their Mom/Wife is okay and getting better.

This is taking a toll on them all physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. I am asking if you would please consider helping them through this difficult time. They are an amazing family and we want them all back together again.

Thank you for anything you can do or have done. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
