My name is Mary Catherine (MC) Aston and I've put together this GoFundMe for my older sister, Heather, and her boyfriend, Andy, who need a tremendous amount of help from anyone who can contribute!
Around 4:00 AM on the morning of Sunday, June 27th, my sister and her boyfriend were awakened by an explosion on their back deck caused by the propane tank connected to their grill. Their home became engulfed in flames and by the time firefighters arrived and put out the flames, more than half of their home was destroyed and fire, smoke, and water damage.
We are so grateful that Heather, Andy, their dog, cat, and parrot were able to safely get out of their home, but they are now facing extremely large financial burdens. Their home is in an unlivable condition due to all the damage and they will be displaced for at least 6+ months while they try and salvage their home and belongings.
Besides financial costs, victims of house fires face tremendous emotional stress and I’m hoping we can help alleviate some of the stress that they will face as they begin to rebuild and manage this situation. Every single donation helps, no matter how big or small it may be.
