Our friends Heather and Tim are dealing with an emergency and need our help. Due to a series of clerical errors with their management company, they unexpectedly lost their apartment this week. They're currently staying with friends and managed to get a court date for later this week, but they'll be facing some significant fees and other unplanned expenses (moving, storage, temporary housing, etc.).
As you can imagine, this is an incredibly stressful situation that couldn't have happened at a worse time of year. The estimated cost to resolve the issue is around $9,000.
It's a significant sum to come up with at a moment's notice (especially during the holidays), but if we all pitch in we can help Heather and Tim get this settled so they can move back into their apartment ASAP.
