To help Heather with the costs of travel and accomodation

On Friday the 21st of February 2025, Richard (my grandad) had surgery to fuse his right ankle in Geraldton. All went well in the surgery, but on the morning of the 22nd, he suffered a massive stroke on the left side of his brain, due to him stopping his blood thinners in preparation for the surgery on his ankle, That afternoon he got flown down to Perth to Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital to have surgery to remove the blood clot from his brain, on the 27th of February he was brought back up to Geraldton Regional Hospital and has been going through stroke rehabilitation, like physiotherapy and speech therapy. The stroke has impacted his ability to move his right side, his speech, and the ability to eat solid food, he is unable to walk and is on a thick liquid diet. This go fund me is to help Heather (Ma), and my mum Jessica afford to travel to and stay in Geraldton more often to visit Richard and help him through his rehabilitation, as Heather cannot drive all the way. We just want our Grandad/Dad, home and out of hospital.
