I'm Liz and Heather is a sister to me. I have Heather's permission to do this fundraiser. The funds will go directly to her. If you know Heather you know she is the kindest most giving soul who would do anything she can to help anyone who needs it. She fundraises for libraries and put together a whole program to help teenage girls get the supplies they need to navigate womanhood. She is a thoughtful and brilliant NP who gives her all to her patients and treats them all like family. She provides life saving gender affirming care in a city where that is hard to find. She is a fierce advocate and ally of the LGBTQIA community. She is the kind of friend who helped this struggling single Mom get medication for my kiddo during nursing school when I had nothing and no help. She stubborn as hell and I'm 100% sure she hates this idea because shes fiercely independent but now she needs us to help her and her family as they navigate the loss of her sweet Mama and the kid's beloved Nana. The death of a parent is devastating enough without having to worry about the financial issues that come up when a loved one dies.
